Medical Science does not know why some people get more scarring than others. But, we do know that the scarring is caused by injury to the skin eruptions. Injury is mostly caused by squeezing the blemish or by harsh rubbing with towels.

Don’t decide on one of the seriously exfoliating treatments the week before graduation! While they can help greatly with the reduction of pore appearance and any leftover acne scarring or other skin imperfections due to acne, t you need to know they can really make your skin look worse before it looks better. Give yourself plenty of time for those treatments.

If you decide on laser treatments, be aware that they are a method of burning off a layer of skin. They are also performed by professionals and very expensive.

What is so exciting about these facial cleansers however is the fact that they reduce redness, eliminate swelling and regenerate skin cells, all of which are essential in the removal of acne scarring.
