It is about every ten years that the trend of family closeness changes. Many families were moving away from each other and spending time alone doing activities that they enjoyed. However, the new trend is moving towards togetherness. Instead of meeting within the living room; the family is sitting down on the office furniture and playing games and surfing the internet together.

Nothing is worse for an avid reader and a lover of books than having a child who doesn’t like to read. Reading to a child early in life will help them foster a love of reading and prepare them to read themselves, but sometimes not even that can be enough to foster a love of the written word. Reading parents know that aversion to reading will haunt their child for the rest of his life, making school harder making the rest of his or her life harder.
